BENEFITS OF MOVING POOL FLOORS


The swimming pool no longer takes up permanent space in a room or garden area. Even though most of our clients have large properties, they want the flexibility to switch from swimming to using the space for other activities. Especially in locations where the space allocated for a pool is limited e.g. in a basement or rooftop apartment, or where a smaller pool needs to do multiple jobs, and in these circumstances, a pool with a moving floor is a perfect solution.

The moving pool floor brings in a lot of conveniences, looks stylish, and keeps the pool out of the way when not in use.

In most cases, a movable pool floor will add value to your home. For example, in Central London, the going rate for nice properties is well above £10,000 per sqm, so for a 10m X 4m indoor pool placed in a 15m X 6m pool hall (easily the biggest room in the house), the space gained by fitting a movable pool floor is 90 sqm, worth a minimum of £900,000 or just shy of a Million Pound Sterling.

  • There is no possibility of anyone entering or falling into the pool when the lifting pool floor is up.

The beauty of a movable lifting pool floor is that it can be positioned at any depth, from 0.0m to 2.0m usually for residential pools. So you can use the same pool for multiple purposes, for example:
